If you want the multichannel experience, don’t delve into sound bars.

My requirements were cost effective solution, low profile sound bar, minimal equipment, minimal wiring, and HDMI connectivity. I considered the Yamaha YAS-101BL sound bar also as it’s well reviewed. I ruled it out because the device did not have HDMI connectivity, nonetheless it definitely has some nice features.

Why the requirement of HDMI connectivity? On my TV, basically use an optical cable to get in touch the TV audio on the receiver/subwoofer, and i also connect HDMI devices to the TV, then 2CH audio only might be ship to the receiver/sound bar. The receiver may not contain the important information to widen the audio or simulate multichannel audio with the downsampling. 5. HDMI-CEC partially works. I will control the receiver volume with my DVR remote. When I power over TV, the receiver also powers off. My only issue is whenever i power on my TV the receiver isn’t going to power up. I have to investigate this challenge further
6. With my setup, if the receiver is not on, I receive audio on the TV speakers. Once I power on the receiver, and choose the proper input, I get audio with the sound bar. You don’t manually set internal or external speaker settings. It is nice for some at my household who prefer never to wreak havoc on the receiver.

Some tips i hate:
1. The receiver/subwoofer is bigger than I pictured. The dimensions listed are accurate, but I pictured it being smaller. You need to you should definitely contain the space for any receiver. I’d personally add 4″ to your depth to are the reason for the HDMI cabling items to work with HDMI connectivity.
2. Audio downsampling seriously isn’t mentioned from the Yahama literature. I realize this is certainly specific to a particular TVs and certain configurations, but it is important enough to warrant a mention inside manual while it could adversely affect the audio experience.

I really like my new kindle. I bought one personally and one for my boyfriend. The two of us love them. Prior, both of us had basic android tablets by polaroid (isn’t!?) With soft ice cream sammich. They worked fine devoid of lag but I took rid of it for any fire. I’m glad I did. The fire is incredibly seamless much like the iPad. However… it’s not an iPad. Doesn’t necessarily have a camera, no GPS/location svcs (fb checkins, etc.), and although the app store may be the largest around… it still isn’t the apple or google play store. I wish Sony would put the app on the website to master my smart Tv like my phone is able to do! The app store is filled with games I don’t like, IN ADDITION to the POPULAR apps available on both apple and tootle products. I.e. netflix, redbox, banking apps, twitter, fb, angry birds, grindr, news apps, etc. Id have 5 stars whether or not this were the smallest bit nearer to an authentic droid but I have quite a solid 4 as it’s in my opinion the most effective Droid sub.. Furthermore , i think its as good as the nook due to storage and hour the kindle did it covering the nook.Well developed, seamless —no freezes!, option of accessorie alsos, good size, easy to navigate.
